How are matchups decided?

Entrants are shuffled randomly first, then paired sequentially into matches — so seeding is entirely random, not based on any ranking.

What happens if my entrant count isn't a power of two?

The bracket is padded with byes up to the next power of two (e.g. 6 entrants become an 8-slot bracket with 2 byes), and any entrant matched against a bye automatically advances.

Does this generate later rounds too?

No, only round 1 matchups are generated — you'll need to record round 1 winners and generate later rounds separately as the tournament progresses.

Can I seed entrants manually instead of randomly?

No, this tool only supports fully random seeding — for manual seeding, arrange matchups yourself after generating.

Is there a graphical bracket diagram?

No, matchups are shown as a simple numbered list rather than a visual bracket tree.

How many entrants can I include?

There's no hard limit, though very large entrant lists produce a correspondingly long match list to scroll through.

Can I regenerate the bracket with a new random draw?

Yes, click Generate bracket again for a completely fresh random pairing.
